ProConOS - Programmable Controller Operating System  

ProConOS is the real-time and multitasking-capable, IEC-compliant and very fast PLC runtime system. It is designed in such a way that it can be adapted to almost any hardware.

The fact that ProConOS can be combined easily with already existing runtime programs and firmware packages enables PLC manufacturers to offer IEC 61131-compliant systems and keep their own features and capabilities to their full extent at the same time.

Complete PLC functionality - ProConOS enables loading and execution of PLC programs and supplies powerful debug functionalities for programming, commissioning and maintenance of PLC-controlled machines and plants.

High speed - ProConOS executes native machine code, which enables a very high performance.
 
ProConOS embedded and ProConOS Windows SoftPLC - ProConOS is available in different versions. With the installation of ProConOS, a standard hardware platform as well as a specific embedded hardware platform becomes a powerful PLC.

ProVisIT  

The machine visualization ProVisIT stands out for its easy and intuitive usage and its powerful object dynamization. The possibility of instantiating objects several times allows the most effective way of working.

Many mechanical engineers have now resorted to programming machine visualizations in Visual Basic. The reason: The visualization systems available at the market today have mostly been developed for process visualization. Often, they are difficult to adapt to the requirements of the mechanical engineers with regard to functionality and license costs. Visual Basic may not incur any license costs and it enables access to the world of Windows, however, considering the total development costs, starting with the OPC Client for interconnecting the PLC, including user interface programming, the implementation of machine-specific know-how and maintenance and adaptation of the visualization to customer-specific changes on-site, the question arises whether this really is a cost-effective solution.

Another decisive factor: Automation projects are getting more and more complex. This fact requires the usage of software tools which support the trend towards decentralized control concepts and modular mechanical engineering. Functionality is no longer the only decisive criterion when choosing a visualization software. Integration and availability on the most diverse hardware platforms are rather significant today. 

ProVisIT solves these challenges, based on the open approach of programming visualizations in Visual Basic, by providing a graphical editor with an OPC Client interface for creating the graphic. In conjunction with the IEC 61131 MULTIPROG programming system and the IEC 61131 PLC operating system ProConOS, innovative and totally integrated automation solutions can be developed cost-effectively. Projects that were created in the Windows NT/2000/XP development environment can be run on Windows or loaded onto a CE device and executed there. For this purpose, copy, start and stop functions are available in the development system for synchronization of the project data.
